Its not a late bay or a spitfire, Its just a mint ish 70s jap bike that needed a new frame.

  13. I am feeling pretty stupid. I lost the keys to one of my workshops yesterday morning. I spent the rest of the day looking for them. I could not even start on any of the multitude of engines waiting to be built because all the parts are in there. Really *******ed of I went home after drilling the lock out only for that to go wrong. Went in this morning and there on the hardstanding next door, yes my keys! I had dropped them there and some cretin had parked on top of them with his front wheel right on top of them. I had looked under it twice yesterday. So back and remove lock, go and buy a new one. And not one idiot came in yesterday or today to ask me in broken English if I sold tyres or could I repair a bloody fish tank. Why is there never someone to shout at when you really need them?

K6 in Cherry red and all that was wrong was the kick stand cradle rotted. before that it was a show bike. Ive taken it on for my father as Hes nearly 70 and it'll probably be the last bike hes going to own and ride. I Have My Great Grandfathers 250 AJS that he won at the earls court bike show in 1930 and my Mothers ss80 Brough Superior coming to me. My Dad sold My Brough in the 70's But we still have a family collection of 30 bikes including a LHD Cossack outfit that my grand mother rode until she was 79. As I said its just Jap cr.. ;)

  16. Yes you should, and should post pics, as the CB750 was the Best Bike Ever Made. FACT.

As long as it's a 70s one, with the tank painted that metallic bronze colour.

I nearly broke my ankle starting an Aerial Square Four many years ago. I've just reimported the bike me and my wife toured Europe on when we went on honeymoon.

It is a Honda though so not in the same league as a Brough Superior.

  18. I had a mate at school who was lobbed against the garage ceiling by his ancient Norton Panther while trying to start it. Fortunately, landing in the pool of oil underneath it probably broke his fall...

My Father was a bike hunter. He found the last surviving N.U.T and the only 2 royal enfield 800s made by the factory. 1 was destroyed in a test bed and the other is in Holland and has had a replica made of it. One of his fave bikes was his OHC Squarial, Very rare. My Brough is an a German Museum for god knows what reason!..
