    Scorching from the Middle of May until middle of August, bit of rain then and end of August it brightened up again. It’s been a very nice summer bud.

    That last piccie Malc, I always think you're picking a fight with the photographer. :)
    As for this summer, after getting fried on Mohammeds' anvil all day just been bobbing about in what was left of the rivers with Mrs P andt Hound. Been out on fells now it's cooled off a bit.

    The type of summer that really makes me wish I was retired!! It’s been hot working outside through it, but no complaints.... we don’t get good long spells of sun too often, so I’ll be remembering it fondly next year if I’m wearing my waterproofs more than my shorts
    Went to a few good music festivals in the van, went sailing, walking, really just the type of summer I normally have.... but with less need to worry about if I need to take an umbrella!
    Hoping for more of the same next year if anyone can arrange it?!

    Yeah, I can see that. It kinda sums up my previous frustrations at lots of things I suddenly seemed to get on top of. The absence of mountain walks being one of them.
