The swivel nut attaches to the hob free and intact. cleaner than pics give it credit .the gas bar not corroded and the mesh intact would polish up nice with no pitting in chrome due to the rare nature I would expect a fair price.
Agree with davidoft, my van came with it and it is indeed rare. Although rare it needs to be desirable to command a high price. How many vans have the connection for this on the cooker? Picture below shows mine with tray as well.
They came with the three knob cookers as fitted to Malagas and possibly Oxfords. I assume they came with all those vans, so as rare as the vans themselves and useless if you don't have the proper cooker...of course most lost theirs. If you don't have the correct pan, with the mesh insert and handle then the burner part is kind of useless. I paid £70 for mine and £20 ish for the pan part.
People tag things as rare all the time ... I have one ,davidoft has one ,75bay has one ther not common but they do crop up .but it's a very limited market as they only fit the 3 knob cooker as most people bin the original cooker for a new smev one ... If it's missing the pan /handle then I'll offer £50 on the chance it is better than my one ...if you eBay it I'd advise better photos
The U.K. Buses are all badged by Westfalia as continentals, but only Malagas and I assume Oxfords had the three knob cookers...
