Terrorist seems to have run people down on Westminster bridge in a 4x4 and then attacked police possibly trying to access Parliament. Not sure about casualties but it seems the terrorist has a few holes in him and wont be doing it again! Looks horrible!
Last I heard was 5 down on Westminster Bridge, policeman stabbed and assailant shot outside parliment.
Off topic. Do you pay to drive through the centre now or is it just commercial traffic? Terrible incident btw and my thoughts go out to the innocent victims.
Just central London. There's a map somewhere. Driving through it is such a vile experience these days, it's hardly worth it.
It never was fun in the day. I did like the early early morning drive when I worked there back in my sensible days.
Doubt that the barsteward who was driving the 4 x 4 was worried about the Congestion charge. 10 injured 2 dead....seems some were French school kids! Poor sods.
I was digressing to chill the thread. We all know what we think of him and what we can call him,but choose to keep the swearing to ourselves. hopefully the police will deal with him in the time honoured fashion.
Just had to stop for 6 police cars flashing lights sirens, just storming into the middle of town, taking no prisoners...
When these things happen I like to focus on the people who rush to help. Already several stories of people coming to the aid of those caught up. God bless 'em.
I think something similar, if not worse happened on 7/7. Full credit to our security services for ensuring that these attacks are comparatively rare.
