i have a westy water tank that came with van , i presume it fits behind the sink and has the built in waste pipe going through the floor and a pump that operates when you want water , but that is the extent of my knowledge i have no idea what a fitted one looks like or how i should fit mine .

Does anyone know how its done properly and have any pics to help in my refit , thanks in advance .

I can't help as mine's a Berlin. but if the tank is like what was in mine it sits with the smaller part sticking outwards while the filler neck sits at the back.

Here you go. This is for the unit similar to what you probably have.

i freeze small bottles of water to help the freezer stay cool and also take them 5 litre water bottles at £1 each and as you say the space is more useful.

  9. I'll take some pictures of mine tomorrow, I have a Continental Westy, which has a slightly different configuration.

Lilke Birdy's mine did smell a bit, but with using steri tabs (Miltons fluid would do) cure it..

Always use mine, but not for drinking water... Cooking, boiling, teeth brushing is fine...
