Westfalia roof dimensions and roof fabric lining

Discussion in 'Camper Conversions' started by jamiesuzette, Feb 13, 2020.

  1. Hi has anyone put a westfalia pop top on a bus and if so have you any dimensions for bolts etc. Plus any help with installing a fabric roof would be nice tips etc...

I have asked in prototype but not had many replies and joined this site before I bought the bus.

Look forward to some replies. [IMG][IMG]

  4. No worries, I can't help though as I've got a rear hinged one. I'm sure someone will sort you out though:)

  5. The early roofs were fitted to vans with a factory sunroof. Does yours already have this, or are you chopping your tin roof?

  6. No mine does not have a factory sunroof so no worries there and the hole is just behind the cab area as shown in picture I know where to cut the roof just would like a diagram of where of the bolts and fittings go to secure roof .

    Thanks for replying to me.[IMG]

It should have the H frame fitting for the front end....the big horizontal bar you push up to open.
