Westfalia Berlin Floor and Sub Floor

  1. These pictures have been really helpful - my bus came with a 9mm ply floor that was not shaped at the edges to fit into the recessed area, so I will look to improve that and use 3mm ply on top.

One question for those using Marmoleum - what glue did you use to stick it down with? Forbo do a lino glue, but they don't do small pots and they want £45 for a big pot. Any other (cheaper) options?

My marmoleum isn't stuck down, but the furniture, trim cards and threshold strip cover all the edges.

  3. Thanks zed. I'll only have the rock and roll bed at the back and the threshold strip along the sill to hold mine down, so I think I will need some glue, at least for the other two sides.

  4. I brought a tub of floor adhesive from B&Q and will be using that, think about £8, other than that use a thin line of gripfill type stuff to hold it in place.
