Wentworth Woodhouse nr Rotherham

Went to a great classic car show / fair at the big old house. Lots to see and cheap to get in ( £ 4.50 )...why aren't VW shows like that !
Anyway, if you pre-book with vehicle its £ 5. No camping but there are sites around.

It appears to be 1st Sunday in September every year and I thought it might be a nice meet-up for South Yorkshire Late Bayers next year.

 

Maybe it's part of the "Keep Yorkshire Tidy" campaign.

 

Didn't mean to offend those less fortunate........although South Yorkshire on the whole hasn't much to shout about....Wentworth is a gem.
As its only a one day show, I wasn't sure how many people would travel.....having said that, we "popped down" to Beaulieu the other weekend....5 long hours and god only knows how much fuel...but to hear my lad say it was his best holiday ever, made it all worthwhile.

 

Its only £15 with three night camping included darn ear or £10 n two night camping , sounds good thou

Sorry tike2, just back from Scottish Highlands ( well I am, bus still over the border ). The show was huge with loads of different classes.....a good da / afternoon out.
