As I said, I've no idea - I only suggested it as a way to check the viability of the starting battery, I didn't mean to use it long term.
Check the earth strap, so easy to forget! Just carefully fit a jump lead firmly between the negative battery terminal and something solid on the engine. If all works well now, your earth strap is the culprit
