Not seen it yet. Looking forward to it. The book was brilliant

  3. That reminds me to take Lottie the Loony Lurcher out for a walk. You've read the book and now eat the cast.

  4. Have they toned it down. No death and destruction?

I watched it with my 9 year old, barnie. Sort of reminded me of me when I watched it. Sort of upset him, as it reminded him of our pet rabbit, Smudge....to be brutally honest.

  13. Yeh you prob right , I didn’t watch that much and I can’t really remember days gone by so vividly as once could .

I know what you mean. It’s all the other stuff that confuses one with growing up... don’t start me on the original cartoon, Lord Of The Rings, though... watched that at the same cinama as Watership Down, tonight, in the mid 70’s!.:)

  17. Ok ok I admit I’m no expert on kids films ,jugged or pubic ?

  18. Only watched for a few minutes - didn't like the style of the animation .
Read the book before I saw the original animation 40 years ago - which I thought was really good - and Bright Eyes was the #1 when our number 2 son was born

Just finished watching the first episode. I liked it a lot. I liked the original film too. Still neither as good as the book, but both capture the spirit of it. John Hurt and James McAvoy both really good Hazels.
