  1. Hmmmm. Still thinking about this. It looks like the size of show that will provide amusement for a few hours, but a whole weekend? Maybe the daily rate and refund thingy will prove a good idea!

  2. Cleaned mine out ready for the morning, just come back past there (a12 130 &127) from Harwich this evening in the van and seen 7 or 8 nice vws crusing about

  3. All set up here. Very chilled out atmosphere so far and nice weather.

  4. For anyone coming for the day, be aware the display in the arena is tomorrow ! Nothing on today except stalls, music and wandering around the campsite which has plenty to look at anyhow.

  5. Just got home, i really liked it there (even though its not show day) got loads of cheap bits to play with, didn't spot the lofty van this time though

  6. been home a little while, i met lofty, nice van btw, and i did spot dave's van in the car park. defo camping there next year........

  14. Couldn't agree more. This was our first show where we stayed over even though it is on our doorstep and Master Lofty and I loved it. I reckon they coul dhave been clearer about no display on the Saturday as there were day visitors complaining and the £15 each with £10 refund on exit seems a bit steep and likely took money away from the stands but these are my only 'constructive' criticisms. the stewards wer every helpful and friendly, and the general feeling during the evening and around the camping where we were was very chilled. in my diary for next year !
    Here's some pics....

  16. only went on the Sunday but was a nice chilled day, weather was cracking.

I fitted new hubcap and trim ring last night which promptly fell off somewhere en route - annoying. Expected it to be mashed and/or rolling down some roadway.

Nice bit of Karma though, on the way home we stopped to help a broken down bay on the Stock road (FI problem which I think is down to your fuel filter being clogged mate if you ever read this) then carried on home, retraced our first part of the journey and result, neatly placed on the side of the road are my trim and hubcap. Sweet..

Def going next year, some really nice vehicles/people. Signposts to enter show could have been a bit clearer but overall nice show, reasonably priced.
