For sale our 59 PlateVolvo V50 estate 1.6 DRIVe with 86,400 miles Road tax is £20 per year, yes that’s right £20 per year . It also can achieve between 60 -70 mpg on a steady run With driving round town averaging 50 +mpg Insurance is very low as well. So apart from routine servicing is a very cheap car to run . This has been our family car, but the time has come to upgrade to something bigger. Saying that there is plenty of room for the average family and with the Volvo build quality you know it’s a very sturdy car . This Volvo has full service history with Volvo up to about 75,000 miles then independent from there onwards . This included a cambelt change at 75,200 miles . It is mot’d until Febuary 2019, with it passing the last one with no advisories . It has had new mid range tyres on the front and a new alternator and auxiliary belts changed 2 months ago . Towards the end of last year it had 2 new complete wish bone suspension arms and turbo boost pipes replaced along with all the geometry of the car checked and adjusted plus new rear callipers . The garage we use will only use manufacturer parts So this was quite a hefty bill but the car now drives spot on and like a new vehicle all receipts for all work will be included with the service book . Interior is in good clean condition with no rips or tears . The exterior on a whole is in good condition but does have to odd few faint scratches and stone chips as most family cars have . The only bad point is we only have 1 key for the vehicle although this is in good condition . We never received the 2nd key from the dealer we bought it from despite constant phoning and to be honest we gave up in the end . So if your after a well maintained very cheap car to run then please come and view But please note, I am more than happy to take you for a drive but wont allow a test drive unless you have appropriate insurance with proof .
