So as some of you know i purchased this frenchie at slough swap meet

No idea if it would run or not and with a flat tire, no brakes it was a crazy purchase.

Well today was the first time I got the chance to give it a go. I don’t want to spend a fortune if it was a bit of a dead duck.

I went and got a inner tube for the front wheel pumped it up and it seemed good to go... still no brakes

    Who needs brakes

Anyway.... first run out... what a plonker

Seemed to go quite well if I’m honest, I now need to try and get it to run properly and then I’ll spend a couple of quid fixing it up.

No rear brakes, but managed to get the front to sort of work. A pic of the engine... 49cc

Top speed of around 20mph, lots to learn still.

Just sayin’. One of my customers had 2 for sale, as he was freeing up garage space.

Bit more action today, stripped the fuel system, cleared a blockage and put it all back together, the thing now actually runs on its own.

    I must say.... great fun

Now to get the rest of it tidied up.
