Yep, great bits of kit if you don’t mind cooking on a hot plate, rather than directly over the coals.

We’ve had a Weber Smoky Joe for the best part plus of a decade. It’s bomb proof

I’ve got one, I’ll get you a pic after work:) This one is round and shaped like a small bucket when ‘assembled’ which means you take it out of its bag/case and attach the legs. It is constructed of several different layers that automatically assemble when you lift it up a bit like those pack up pplastic pint glasses, attach legs then you’re good to go. Pop in a ready light bbq coal pack and it’s all systems go. If you get some bbq plastic, then you count to a hundred and start to cook. Ends up about the size of a smallish fry pan but no handle obvs, maybe eight to ten inches across and round, then about two inches deep and drops out to six or eight inches high. Brill bit of kit, even bettererer with bbq plastic, check out the bbq plastic on Amazon it looks just like D.P.C. but three sheets / squares for a fiver I think.

    Ozziedog,,,,,,,,, nice kit :)

Here ya go, I guess. you can assemble it and have a pack of ready to light fuel all lit and ready to rock in less than thirty seconds then just waiting for them flames to die back a bit and get your barby plastic firing on all cylinders :)

And if you get cold you can poke your sausage through the fill hole. Toasty!

  12. I like that idea. If you had a door/ flap type thing it'd be ideal to strap to the rear of the bus so it just looks like a fuel can but open it up and it's your fire pit/ bbq. Also keeps the burny stuff and ash outside the bus which is good.

I had a thought that it might be a good idea to make a bbq if you could find a spare wheel well body cut, if it could be trimmed down a touch, removable legs etc it might be able to make it fit inside the real spare wheel well, and pop your spare back in on top of it, so it'll take up virtually no room. Not sure if that'd work, just a thought..

Alas the carriers never got finished and I don’t have them so that scrapped that plan.
