I got one many years ago from VWH but I couldn't budge them. Took them to an engineering shop and he swore a lot when I went to pick them up.

  4. To get them out you thread the inside , stick a bolt in and to remove you try to hit the bolt out ...effectively stretching the guide ..
To put them in .heat head and put guides in freezer ....

  9. I will take a picture of the tools I made ..it’s just a holder with a piece of carbide

This is what I used ...from memory the valve seats are super hard ( as you would expect ) I used a tap wrench on the cutters to cut it slowly ...... you can adjust bits of carbide to cut any angles ....

You can borrow as long as I get them back ...,,

I just used a punch that just fitted... Second time... As long as heads are proper hot and guides proper cold. But most importantly holes and guides are clean.. I gave them a light 2000 grit polish and oiled the guides in the freezer (oil didn't freeze). And they slipped right in.... Tried to push them in with an air hammer first time any made a right mess .. Valve seats fell out and all sorts... So patient and clean and they slip right in...good luck I nearly cried

  19. Just pop your micrometer on the guides if they're still about... Its around this point I found one of mine was oversized!.... Oh the fun......
