V- Dub Island I.O.W 14th to 18th August 2014 (with extra camping 4 nights prior if required.

I know Red funnel is a longer crossing but its never taken 2 days before

 

We will be there Thursday. Getting ferry at 10.00. We have an orange panel van (window on near side) and tlb stickers in the windows. Say hi if you see us.

 

We should have a late bay meet up over the weekend

 

We are already setup - it is very windy - bring plenty of storm straps

 

What's the ground like? Tent pegable??

 

I hope there is set pitched for everyone and not a free for all

 

The amount of rain we had today it should be soft, I am not at the site and barneyrubble, I guess, has no phone network cos he aint answering !!!

It is pegable at the moment (just avoid the flints) Camping is free for all but in a sensible fashion

Pretty dry underfoot to be honest especially considering the rain we have had!

Looking forward to getting their properly - on the plus side Barney Bear now got his awning up and hopefully will shortly be enjoying a beer!

Great internet signal - we watched the golf on SkyGo and no buffering at all! Bring £2.50 a day for the showers though .....

 

Thursday 11.00 am crossing for the Jesters would have gone sooner but ( gawd help us) have to wait for Holly's A Level results Thursday morning who I must add isn't coming with is. But we shall have my youngest and two grand children , two woofs and (following or leading) step daughter in their T4 Camper . They have Very long Bassett Hound so if you see us come and say Hi!
