Found a 2013 Seat Mii with 1500 miles for £6k. I know its a basic car but apparently will do 60+ mpg with £20 annual tax. Question is are these decent tech engines and is it likely to last 5 years or more for round town? Does anyone have one? Ta
Citroen DS3 DSport+ Diesel eHdi 115 with free road tax, I'm getting anywhere from 58mpg up to 80mpg on a long run. Great car if your budget goes that far!
13 year old Golf TDi does 65mpg all the time and has oomph when needed. Modern engines haven't got so very much smarter.
Not for me, for the mrs and she wants a small car, smaller the better, therefore for me the cheaper the better. There is also an option for a fiat 500 by diesel 3 years old for same price but very hi spec
