great truck the 200's best landy engine ever! my chassis has been welded ok but just quite a few of them!
Guys, Have just read this thread, I have just finished my bus, which had an entire back to metal respray inside, under and outside. On the underside, I sprayed the Upol Gravitex stone chip protector and then the 2K top coat. I was told the top coat would stick ok to the Gravitex, but despite it appearing to dry like a primer, I have found that the top coat comes away quite easily, especially when tightening bolts onto it etc. So don't be fooled! Gravitex is a great product, but it is not like a primer! If I could do mine again. I would prime a few coats onto the Gravitex prior to top coating.
your right the gravitex is rubbery but i wont be putting any bolts in where it has been gravitex'd in the arches, the paint should stick ok to the gravitex i did the under arches on my split 4 year since and there still spot on
