  1. I have two new doors in the standard black "transit paint" vw supply them in, what should i do with this? Primer over it? remove it?

We removed as much as we could from the Brazi doors we fitted and etch primed over. Any areas we couldn't get to, we keyed the black as best we could!

  3. I was told with Crappaholm panels def take it off. For gen panels it was a better electrophoretic coating so just key, etch prime and paint.

Not done it yet so cant say if its good advice! @zed would know

It can be hard to tell what you have so I use thinners. If it comes off I remove it all, if thinners don't touch it it gets keyed/flatted (during which most of it gets removed anyway due to chips in the coating here and there. Really rubbish transit paint literally wipes off with thinners, but there's other stuff that also washes off with a bit more effort. Thinners doesn't touch electrophoretic coating.
