I'm sure I read a post here recently for a good supplier of track rod boots that don't perish as fast as the cheese ones. Anyone else see it or have I gone mad. Are the boots on the drag link the same?

I'm sure it wasn't one of the usual suspects. Might have been on the buggy forum - if it was I'll put the info on here if I get it.

I’ve just fitted some from here: https://www.balljointboots.co.uk/ They’ve not been on long enough to estimate life but they look and feel good quality.

Which size did you get for track-rod ends?

I ordered boot 2 but they also sent me boot 3 foc so I could use whichever fitted best. https://www.balljointboots.co.uk/page6.html Boot 2 was best but I didn’t like the supplied tie wraps and I reused the original metal retaining clips.

The boots from South Wales Propshafts look good.

Well, South Wales Propshafts want £4 +vat each plus a fiver post. £15ish for a pair. They did say they were made of neoprene and wouldn't perish.
Balljointboots however were only £3/pair plus £3 post - so I bought 2 pairs (boot size 2) for under a tenner.
