Did Yorkshire Warrior a few years ago, similar, that was fun. Not as hard a a straight run as you get rest at every obstacle.
Absolutely brilliant fun, enjoyed it so much I did it again the next year but it was 13 miles and 18 obstacles! Where else do you get to dive into a skip full of ice and get electrocuted several times My first attempt at “Everest” always makes me laugh!
I did it with Duncan a couple of times, ended up doing it 3 times I think... Brilliant fun, and a great day. Not sure about the electrocution though. Last time I did it there was a blind lad doing it. Absolutely amazing achievement. I'd do it again but I bought a campervan..... .
Not for me. Still remember school cross country runs where your shoes would end up sucked off your feet in churned up mud from forestry machinery. And they would be a foot down in a hole full of stinking water.. And then getting high on the Sunset Yellow in the orange squash provided as refreshments .. well it was a private school where I had a Direct Grant Scholarship. .. then a splitting headache from the same..
you had e number squash? count yourself lucky! my nephews are at prep school and i reckon they'd have to have a charity fundraiser to pay for cheap squash! jeez, they get more holidays than Santa too!
