Not today but where we ended up working 20 years ago. The Thredbo Landslide, when 2 lodges were destroyed and 18 people were killed. Last nights flare run at Thredbo.
We don't want to work, we want to have fun. Okay, okay .................... we'll be down after we make sure everything is safe.
Not the best positioning for a promotion. Now we have to go and fence it off to stop any naughty people from making it into a jump.
10 minutes from home this morning at 0430. And now we're having to close down lifts because the wind is in excess of 100 K/hour.
The wind has been gusting at over 120 Km/hour and still they're out there. I can't decide if they're dedicated or loonies.
Sunrise and winds are still well over 100Km/hr. Lots of lifts won't be running today, the car parks are already overflowing so there's going to be a lot of aggravated people around today. Think I'll hide out up here.
If the snow keeps falling soon no one will be able to find the way to our office and we'll be able to have a snooze in peace.
