  1. I have been watching a welder trolley on ebay which costs around £60, but I thought I'd be able to knock one up for free. I had some dexian shelves and trim here which was a little rusty but still solid. Used the ebay picture as a guide then used my mig for a guide to the sizes required.

    I wanted one of these.

Looked ok if a little scruffy.

Ended up looking just how I wanted it.

Very nice. It needs wheels though innit. ;D

  3. Top job. I'm trying to collect together the scrap to make a sheet metal brake, I think it'll take me longer than 5 hours though!

  4. Zed, :p
I have to source wheels and a few brackets to store the cables.

  5. 10/10

  7. Top job :)!

  8. Sorted my wheels and castors, found a length of 10mm studbar which I welded to the chassis and bolted it all to the cart. Still gotta sort some brackets for the cables. It'll do for now. At least I can keep all my welding spares and discs together. O0

  9. Nice one. Always feel better when you get what you needed but using ingenuity, your own skills and 'stuff' that was just kicking around.

    Spanking job!

I took advice and bought a welder with wheels and a tray for the gas bottle when I upgraded. Very good advice when choosing a welder. Even the 90A welder it replaced had been a PITA to drag about so the advice hit home.

  12. youve painted the welder blue too.... :))
