    Didn’t there use to be a sizeable Paddy population in Brum? Seem to recall a lot lived on the Bristol Road, but it’s so long since I lived there I might be getting Cricklewood and the Bristol Road mixed up in my addled mind :)

    There is a huge Irish or Irish 2nd or 3rd generation population in Brum, but come at Patrick days it seems like every one is Irish.
