We love it. It’s totally bonkers but brilliantly done. Great cast too. Joffrey Baratheon the epitome of evil...or you’d think until Ramsay Bolton came along! . We don’t have Sky though so won’t be watching til it’s out on dvd. In the meantime I’ll carry on listening to Tumanbay on R4, highly recommended to anyone waiting on their GoT fix
When I hear about Game of Thrones (never watched it) I often think of this sort of thing Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Switched off at the end of season 1 dvd watching. Bought season 2 dvds never bothered watching. Read first 5 books. UK has Tolkien. USA has George RR Martin formulaic Dungeons and Dragons.... Gone back to playing World of Warcraft.
I like it because I’m interested in English medieval history, and aside from the fantasy aspects, the story line has more than a few parallels. I agree there are more important things in the world to be getting on with, but we aren’t obsessive about it, we enjoy it for what it is, entertainment, albeit with lots of bloody violence and a fair degree of rumpy pumpy thrown in to the mix
I am not remotely interested! Lincoln dies. Greta Garbo dies. Pol Pot dies. Jeffrey Archer Born. Titanic sinks. And all you can think of is Game of Thrones!
