Today is First Camp Morning

There is something special about waking up with a fuzzy head, in a field, surrounded by like-minded and barely alive folk. The world has been put to rights, the Propex is fired up, the kettle is on.

Happy days

 

I’m off fishing today to do an overnighter on our club lake, people think I’m mad going in this cold weather but you can’t beat the peace and quiet and being at one with nature, i wish I could take my propex with me but I’ll fire up my Coleman’s petrol stove which gives off a great deal of heat and will keep me warm, I hope you all enjoy the rest of the show

I was the only one on the lake, even the wild life didn’t come out to play,I might wait until mid March before my next trip..... then again I’ll probably go next week
