Burgers were said to be invented in Hamburg, Germany, or to be more precise the meat that would become the hamburger was. Ground beef used to be considered a waste product, the leftovers of the prime cuts that were then sold off on the cheap. These days premium ground beef is the foundation of one of the world’s most popular foods. It got its start as a hamburger steak, a popular dish served with multiple variations, but one day it found its way onto a bun, met cheese and bacon, and has never looked back. Burger Day is your opportunity to indulge in as many of these delicious concoctions as you desire. I usually find that one is plenty. Keep it simple - don't pile it high with additional fillings, and make it a Brioche bun and I'll be content.
A day for my Holly her favourite treat is cheeseburger happy meal, no onion no pickle and no mustard, washed down with a diet coke, happy burger day Holly
Brioche bun? What is it with the current fad for eating burgers from what is, and has always been a cake? You need a proper cob, toasted on the inside, spread with mashed avocado and then blue cheese melted over the burger.
Ground beef - a US term - so in English that would be mince - our staple diet as kids Pulled pork is another US term - I've never pulled pork in my life - isn't it illegal
Mmmm burgers... quite partial to a GBK burger on the rare occasion I find myself in the vicinity of one. And to be fair, quorns new Ultimate burgers are pretty damn good as well!
Love a good burger, but home made is best. Not fussed on the bread side of things, it’s just wrapping! Might make some bean burgers tonight now I’ve got an excuse
I’m in London (Wandsworth) for a few days so will have to get a burger tonight now! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m guessing you never went to Oscars Nite Club, in Wiltshire, in the 90’s. Pulled some there, once...
