TLB walking club. 20/21/22 May.

I thought best start a seperate thread just for this weekend.

Date : Weekend Friday 20th May to 22nd.

Venue : Hayfield C&C site, non members welcome. Tel: 01663 745394. Lovely quiet sheltered site with excellent facilities.

Walk : Exact route to be decided on site dependant on weather and abilities and whatever. This won't be a problem, there are masses of good walks starting from the site.

I'm going anyway, be nice to have some company so book in and add to the list:

Zedder's.

 

I'll decide Friday but should be okay for walk and camping.

 

This is going well.
Will the camp site cope with the TLB hoards about to descend upon it?

We won't be attending either (but then you don't care about the no's, just the yeses). Going south into the depths of Warwickshire this weekend for Melfest!

If you'd looked yesterday at forecast for today it looked none to good, but waddaya know? It's a beautiful sunny day here in West Lancs at least.

Here now and it's sunny and warm. Those weather forecasters know nowt.

 

That looks a great place Zed and it's a great idea, Not enough notice for me thou and I'm working tomorrow, Just got back from a little holiday and camping next weekend in deepest darkest Norfolk

 

I realised that notice would be a problem for some, but what can I do? If I knew what I'd be doing in 3 weeks time I'd be sad, I don't like to plan too far ahead.

Anyway, isn't the idea of the bay that you get in and go on the spur of the moment?

Sunday looks like it could be a nice day if tomorrow's a rainy pub day.

 

You've got a little bottle for the dirty water from the sink how very domesticated of you.

I believe you can get sand buckets in case of fire and little jackets to fit over the wheels.
