Before I forget, good luck to Magical Trevor who's doing the Great North Run on Sunday.

 

Thanx moosey, woody an everyone who knew and was behind me. Big big Thanx to Bern for all the help and advice. Made my first half matathon in 1hr 59 and 28. Really really chuffed! Blooming nazed now though

 

Well done that man.

The Running Reverend is running her first half marathon this Sunday at Peterborough I is support crew as always.

I've managed 10 miles in 3 runs this week, so it's coming back slowly.

 

She did 14 miles last week as a training run and to see if she could do it. That was along a canal path so this Sunday on tarmac will be a walk in the park.

 

Congrats to the Running Reverend for completing her first Half Marathon in a time of 2:15.
She wanted to be under 2:30 and I think thats a job well done.

 

Maybe a good time to bump up this thread with New Year resolution time around the corner.
Anybody thinking of kicking off the New Year by entering a race ?
Or just hitting the road or the treadmill ?

 

Mrs TW is running with the club on Christmas eve cross country ending at a pub. Think I'm on duty to bring her home.
