Thornbrook Farm, Ingleton - a bijou ickle campsite!

Discussion in 'North Yorks' started by yorkshirecampers, May 13, 2012.

  1. Had a great weekend in Ingleton with the Wilma's, Dubweisers, Bumpnudger and lovely missus Tina. Moira managed to find this tiny little campsite so we booked the whole place out. We missed our Woody who was having a spot of carb trouble :'(

A great little spot, about 3/4 mile walk into Ingleton and about 1/4 of a mile from a nice pub called the Marton Arms, where we had dinner on Saturday with eveningstar & crazycaver discussing plans for the next Halloween Dubs In't Dales ^-^

You'll have to like sheep....there's millions of the little beggars, and they all start shouting for Claire at 6am ;)

Highlights of the weekend for me were seeing Wilma v2.0, Sarah "I'm still awake" Dubweiser definitely NOT falling a kip and being red carded to bed, and Paley staggering into bed giggling for 10 minutes, saying "me and Alan had to go to bed, we were just grunting at each other"

    ;D

    Few pics for you all

Every toilet tent needs a loo roll holder, innit (ps the site is beautiful, but basic - no facilities except water & chem disposal!)

  4. I'll have you know I wasn't drunk or asleep, I was suffering from "shock" after my horrific let's take a short cut accident. The Jagerbombs probably contributed to the accident and the Bushmills Julie made we drink in the pub contributed to the "shock" ;D ;) ;D

Fabulous weekend guys we'll definately have to do it again soon 8)
