We bought one of these for the T5 works van as it has a leak and is always steamed or iced up on these cold morning, i must say so far its worked a treat, i guess its some type of silica gel inside as it can be dried out, they say in the ad it will absorb up to 600ml Its not cheap, cost about a tenner, only had it a few days so i will post up again when it stops working, to let you know how long it lasted before it needs drying out and how long that takes
How has this faired over the wet weather recently, like the idea of being able to reuse. Is there a particular way it wants to be dried out?
So far so good, i haven't had to dry it yet, but it seems to be a slow dry in the airing cupboard or on a rad
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/2213...3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0-L&ff12=67&ff13=80&ff14=108 You can get them on e-bay as above but we got ours at Costco. They cost us less than £10 a pack and we got two packs . They seem to work quite well actually. I have just unzipped the bus and changed the two that were in there (which were a little soggy/damp) for another pair. The one we got had two strips in each pack. Now all I need to do is see how long they take to dry out . The main thing is the camper is nice and dry inside so pretty pleased . You can also get smaller packs in Halfords and Amazon but if you have or know of someone with a Costco account it might be worth the trip.
