  4. well it says it fits bays so i guess it should.

  5. Was looking and it doesn't mention bays. Be interested to try one if it did but raher let someone else splash out on one first. Any volunteers?

    They say they'll fit bays.....

  8. true they definitely dont!! however this is a bespoke made part and looks pretty good, i would expect a part like this to fit very well

I'm onto my third linkage in 6 years. When buying the second one I was actually told what I was buying was rubbish and I'd better keep another in the van. I've previously had to run back up along a road after my first one crumbled, found the bits, cabled tied it back together and managed to get home.

That billet linkage looks like it would last.

(I'll happily trial it for any company doing them and post my results if they want to send me one!) ;)

Looks pretty but totally lacking in any flexibility.
It might end up doing damage to the gearbox in cases where the flex in a spindly and plastic cheeked stock coupler would accomodate e.g. the strain from a bent shifter rod.
If your bus is eating couplers this may not be the solution. Normal setups do not eat couplers.

Most of the drift in mine seems to come from the front mount where the horizontal shift rod goes through the rubber grommet lined hole in the chassis (just ahead of where the gearstick knuckle connects).

Over time the hole has been worn and allows what feels like a fair amount of movement, I'd like to re-bush that mount in time.

Same. The plastic bush at the front seems to be most of the problem, I only replaced it a matter of months ago and there's excess movement again already.

The new front bushes are all to small from what I've read.

  14. B great to know if anyones fitted one and if it makes an ounce of difference to the change!

  15. ^this. There doesn't seem to be any flexibility at all. You'd also get great vibes up your gear lever, possibly.

  16. I appreciate that but the proof maybe in the pudding!
