Yes because it's a left hand drive mate so needs both door mirrors

John, get that mirror off Crossy , get it mot'd bolt the bed in , chuck some sheets in and get out in it for a long weekend mate...not the best time of year but sod it..get a hook up and get a small heater in it ...just go somewhere with the wife and switch off and relax...
I know we've never met in person and you know I'm only down the road so if you ever need owt...give me a shout...I don't think you need any practical help but I can drink your tea and eat your biscuits while you pop the mirror on..

 

My bus isn't even a project and it looks worse than that

 

So sorry to hear of your loss - we lost our first baby and it took a while to get ourselves back up - it was many many years ago but we still remember her with tears in our eyes and now have two grown up lads ( well they are grey haired men now!)
I would go along with what a few have said - it looks a good solid bus and you know it intimately now - put it to bed for the winter and get back to it in Spring - you will regret selling it - and you can both get away from it all and forget things for short while as you worry about the bus not starting/overheating etc - but I fully understand why you want to get rid of it .
By the way - I was born in Sleaford as my Dad was stationed at Cranwell during the war .

 

Got quite emotional for a moment there. This is what this forum should be about.
Feel for you Johnboytaz. I can only reiterate what others have said. Don't be hasty, accept the help offered to get it back on the road and go camping a couple of times before making any decisions about whether to keep the van or not.

You have a wife who doesn’t object to you owning a forty year old bus and you want to get rid of it!!!!!!! That’s even more reasons to keep it. “Doesn’t want to move it on” is woman speak for “actually quite fond of it, but won’t tell him that”.
