  1. the chilly weather has turned my attention to insulating stuff and i've been looking at thermo mats for the windows.

there's two companies that i've found so far

and obviously, jk ones. Are they both the same but vastly different prices? and, are they worth the money/do they keep the bus snug and warm?

  2. i myself was looking at these and wondering the same .....would be nice for privacy as well .....stop them lil kids looking thru at me when im sleeping

  4. Ive got blackout curtains and thermo mats. It does keeps bit of heat in but the best bit is that it keeps it nice and dark so you can gave a lie in.

  7. It is possible to use the foil covered bubble stuff sold in rolls for loft insulation etc. Cut to the window shape it works very well and me being tight fisted its a lot less dosh than the made up kits. :D

We've got the jk ones. They fit ok, and depending on what typre of side windows you've got, they can be a bit of a pain to fit (Westy Louvres? Forget it, just jam them in.....), but the best thing is the keeping out light bit. I like the idea of cutting sections of foil bubble wrap for the pop top. K to that fella! :D

  18. We used then last night on our first ever trip out in Colonel Mustard. They were Easy to fit and did the trick...nice and cosy. Good tip for the pop top...I'll be making some up ;)

  20. I've used them a few times and they have been fantastic, stop most of the condensation too which I thinks a big bonus... I can't wait to get some of my own x
