    Any tyre issues Dunc?
Clearance or gearing...curious how far you can push the standard box ratios

  2. It seems to cruise nicely, not sure yet how far out the Speedo is!
It went up Rualt hill on the A55 in 3rd no problem. It is empty in the back though .
Getting a bit of tyre rub on big bumps , New front shocks to go on next and still got the option of raising it slightly but overall happy so far, 280 miles yesterday was a good trial.
Alternator light was showing dimly with the lights and wipers on so add that to the list :(

    Cool, good shakedown.
If you haven't got a specialist nearby for the alternator I can recommend Mark at MC Alternators in Warrington.
He's done a couple of boat specials for me and the syncro one twice.
Once before we left and then when we got back last year coz all the dust and sand trashed it.
Not cheap, but less than a new pattern one. Just confirm with him to source and fit best quality bearings because iirc they are becoming harder to source. Maybe that was just on the 90amp syncro one though...

  4. Cheers I’ll look into that, was thinking of upping to 70 amp if I’m going to the trouble of changing it anyway.
