The sprout has got new seats.....and a floor....and half an interior

  1. Well, after what seems like forever, the upholsterer rang yesterday to say the front seats were ready. He's an old guy and a bit of a perfectionist who said he would fit my work in around his other stuff. Still he's had them a couple of months but now they are back and fitted and look great IMO.

He did the door cards for me first so they've been sitting here for a while and hes cracking on with the rock and roll bed next week so the end might be in sight.

Not cheap but a very good standard of work and still a lot less than the VW specialist trimmers wanted to charge me.

Now im looking for the plastic trims that cover the hinges........ anyone got some?

And now Ive done the floor..... The Lump hammer is to keep a problem corner in place.

Plus the OEM arch side rubbers and the worlds most expensive bespoke cab carpet set with polished heater cover

  9. Nice I don't think that is a bad price really for all the work that went into them . Money well spent as most would charge more than that I'm sore

  13. Up to now Ive only had the door cards and front seats back. Picking up the Rock and Roll bed, the headlining panels and the rear cushion on Friday. Then need to find a decent interior fitter in our neck of the woods which isnt as easy as I thought it might be. Ill post more pics when Ive got the rest
