  4. The mention of bupa has confused me
No worries it's easily done during the solstice

  5. I was meant to be getting 'easily confused' at a friends solstice party tonight. :beer:Maybe if I pop enough pills I'll imagine I'm actually there.

Tlb is like a commune without the mung beans and communal washing

  11. Your explanation of a spare ear is a lot nicer than mine.

However I do like a good mung bean.

  14. Um, he was a bit of an odd little man who liked to eat human parts. So I assume he kept a spare ear in his fridge for late night munchies or something.

  19. I finally bit the bullet and started on the roof lining today. I decided to wedge the ply into groove at the edge of the roof rather than fixing J trim all the way around. Didn't have a clue how/if it was going to work or what it would look like. But there's only one way to find out!

Didn't get loads done (I'll blame the gammy leg) and I started on the easiest bit, the middle part, but it went much better than I was expecting. I only had to take it out, trim a little off and refit a couple of times. Got the hang of 'popping' the curved wood up pretty easily. Couldn't understand how that was going to work at all, but it did! And I think it's going to look ok.

As well as getting the ply to fit snuggly I have to bear in mind leaving enough of a gap for the insulation to fit in behind. So there's still going to be lots of faffing about getting it all to fit exactly but I've got a good idea how to do it now.

  20. I'm going to use high temperature spray glue to fix the foil bubble wrap to the roof. But do I attach the insulation to the bubble wrap or to the back of the ply? If I've got enough bubble wrap, I want to do a layer on the ply as well to protect the bare wood from moisture.
