Changed the big canvas awning, packed it away whilst it's dry and popped on the new weekend awning. Summer holidays are coming to an end :(

Lying in bed listening to the rain hammering it down, question is do I make a dash for the loo?

  6. Sorted out my offside cab door lock. It had been stiff since I had the van sprayed. A bit of grease and a straighten of the lock pin and everything was hunky dory.

  7. Thanks, mind me asking how much the front screen cover cost?
  8. Think they are £100 plus delivery. Rear screen is £30 but if you order both together you get £5 off the rear. Comes in a bag as well[IMG]

Best to message them through Facebook as they answer really quick

  15. Careful. It can leak out, you know...
  16. That was the problem with the old battery. All the electricity leaked out of it. LOL

  17. Not today but last week - got the bus done up for my son's wedding in Grasmere up in the Lakes - complete with balloons and tin cans tied to the back.

  18. Not bus-related, but today I have mostly been replacing the wiring to my pit lights, thus preventing the RCD in the garage fusebox from having a complete nervous breakdown. I'd assumed it was damp, but after heaving the cable through, I detected nibble marks on the section that was in the cavity wall. Likely rats from the Great Infestation of '05 ...

Quite chuffed that the cable-pulling went well, considering it had to go down the cavity and then through a long length of crappy plastic conduit under the concrete floor. All is now sweetness and light (Screwfix bulkhead lights, six quid each, quality items, highly recommended )
