The new " what have you done to your bay today " thread

Used it to go to work in as i have being fixing the wife's car at work and she has been using mine! Can't wait to get mine back!

 

The alternater is out for a rebuild and I'm making a small loom to connect to the regulator and starter as the wiring is looking past its best .I've got some sleeved gromets on order at the local vw dealer and sprung spades on order from a wiring supplier

 

New battery on and started up for the first time in 6 weeks. Can now get my bus off the sloping drive and sort out the ball joints/rubbers for the MoT. Just trying to decide if I get rid of my car and use the bus as my daily.....!

 

Well ive got more done today than I have for ages. The roof is now fitted, the engine was pulled back a tad and foam seal fitted, engine bolted back up, waxoyled cab doors, fitted new number plate light and more. A good day As we all like a photo

 

Removed 2nd fuel tank from the Jurgens.Removed faulty loo.Drilled hole for the shower plug hole.

 

just dried out and rewaterproofed a damaged kick board which is now slowly be dried out again (post waterproofing) - that will be going back in Kitty today and i'll then think about giving her a clean up - shes a bit grubby after coming back from having her service and other jobs done

 

Fitted the cab head lining and Dvd player, I'm hoping the creases will come out the corners when the sun visors are fitted

 

Replaced my wipers - they now touch the screen

 

Stripped off the bumpers and stripped down the roof racks ready for powder coating.
Old slats are in "Classifieds" free to a good home.

 

Started on the dash. Spent most of the day sanding...

And then put some filler primer on

 

Ive done some flatting back on a pice of tinware
Ive also but my original cab and sliding door rubber seals tied up in a pillow case in the washing machine

 

removed the interior so I can turn the fridge upside down to see if it gets working again, re-glued some laminate, cleaned loads of muck & removed some Bananas that must be from the last Tekenders in September.

 

Cleaned the bugger inside (been doing trips to the tip with loads of old junk) I got her up to 85 today.....most impressed.

 

opened the pop top to air it for the first time since sat outside all winter. that's it.... been a bit rubbish at looking after the dubs :/

 

Returned from our first night away this year, it was such a treat waking up to glorious sunshine Yesterday I replaced a few bulbs in prep for her MOT next week, annoyingly that seemed to cause the indicators to fail grrr quick trip to the car shop for new bulbs soon sorted that - fingers crossed for next week

 

Nice bright day today so cover off and windows open to let Kermit 'breath' a bit. Also started first time after being sat for about 6 weeks. Bit frustrated because I am still not fit enough to do any work but it was nice to open him up and get the engine running (still love that sound).

 

Shut the sliding door I forgot to two days ago.

 

Introduced her to new owners and waved her goodbye
