the instructions said something about putting something on top to stop it drying out too quickly... the instructions that are on the other side of that door think i have to water it and tamper again in a couple of hours. if i can be bothered. my arms ache from just mixing the stuff
Spray some water onto it 8n s few hours, though it's usually only a worry about it setting too quick when it's warm, which obviously it isn't Sent from my BND-L21 using Tapatalk
fingers crossed it sets! now to try to figure out the door debacle, price up sisal and fitting and hopefully get some sewing done as i've only got three weeks until the fair!
It’ll set..... you just might need to construct some kind of drawbridge type affair to get out the door for the weekend!! Do you need us to go out en masse and wrestle woolly cardies from little old ladies, and send you aid packages?!
Going to block off the whole vestibule until it dries. The new door is leant up against it Yes please to jumper aid packages!
Didn’t take long but mixing was a pain in the arms as I did it in batches. It’s messier than I’d wanted but can get the snots up when it’s dry. If it dries.
Yes but bus and bug playing up :/ If I can find some 10mm thick I can maybe cut to use for rebate fill and for new jamb bit. Maybe. The door is 41mm thick and the rebate in the frame is 35mm. Grrrr
Think I’ll need to get one soon. Did have an electric plane but a lot of my tools got damp in the cellar and refused to work
