The Joys of Spring

Just strolling round the garden in the sunshine this afternoon to the sound of village cricket on the green and a cuckoo in the distance.

What is it that makes spring for you?

 

I think it's the sun. Can finally sit out in the garden without horizontal rain. Make the most of it!

 

We had daffodils coming out very early march

Last night, had a few round here for a meal so we had the French doors open Then we had our starters (a slice of garlic bread) out on the patio with a smashing New Zealand Savvy B, then inside for a super home cooked jalfrezi with them doors wide open

I get a chance to earn some money. It’s pretty tough being a gardener getting through the winter. Giving up lots of ‘luxury’ things, help.

When Barbara my elderly next door neighbour starts hanging the washing out with her fun bags out!
