  8. It’s nowt to do with a persons sex
When you don’t have much knowledge about vehicles garages are intimidating and daunting

After a couple of years with your van you’ll be able to help others with what you have learnt and I’ve met my good chunk of very switched on female mechanics.

Report back what the mechanic tells you about the van and we might just be able to remove any excess worry for you.

  11. Well said! Most mechanics are one trick pony's take kwik fit for example, good with tyres/exhausts/batterys/brakes etc take them out of their comfort zone and your the one paying for them to take a stab in the dark and a labour/parts bill to make your eyes water!

the owner needed help to get his prototype bay running. He said it was the best of the best
but he would say that .

  17. Refitted the driver's door card I took off last September.

Also this week I've re-wired in the stereo so it now works. Had some help to fix the brake lights Again, adjusted the handbrake, cleaned the fridge, sold the roof rack and replaced it with regular roof bars and ordered some stuff for some more jobs

  18. Tried to adjust the hand brake, but every time I go near it the rain starts. Then a spring snapped and it was game over for now.

  19. Oooo, you did a better job on that than I did on mine with MDF & vinyl.
You’ve made me wonder about doing mine again!
