I should have taken a photo of @Iain McAvoy new front panel when I passed on the M4 earlier but alas I didn’t.
    Looked like that^^^
    Very shiny!

Don't be too envious just yet, not quite a bathroom again, yet!!! Trying to cut the cladding to match the curves of the van is doing my head in and I need to go and buy some plywood

  10. Fitted tailgate seal to hopefully stop the spare wheel well filling with rain.
Hunted high and low for the thermostat that I knew I’d seen somewhere in the pile of bits. Cleaned then checked it, broken naturally.
Found I’m also missing the cooling flaps and linkage, plus both sides tinware that covers the pushrods.
Enjoyed the day pottering on but didn’t achieve much.

Uncovered a living biome in the back of my van, under the rear pad! Crazy. Moist, old chipboard with spiders & bugs living in there - even found a mushroom, centipede and a slug! Crazy. Have pulled it all out.

  13. You did right removing the sodden chipboard
Next step is to figure out how the water is getting in and stop it
The rear hatch seal is a usual culprit.

Is that fibreglass filler in this pic?

  14. I *think* it was just bits of chipboard that had come away...

When I open the hatch, I get a couple of drips from the window seal. It looks as new though... so not sure if it's actually that???

  17. Doesn’t look like the correct seal, looks like something off a sunroof. Could be why you’re getting a leak
