Been round Gusbus today as one or two odds n ends need looking at

Starter motor connections needed cleaning up and some electrical grease popping on to stop them corroding. Easily sorted earlier tonight
Towbar electrics need a check as the right hand indicator is a bit intermittent
Accelerator pedal spring is broken and the pin is worn
Tailgate has a couple of rusty spots needing sorting
R/H rear wheelarch has a paint chip on it
Sliding door has a paint chip, needs a bit of filling and painting
Chassis rails have some surface rust coming through

    Wash and T cut

Trailer needs new tyres and inner tubes.

They aren’t an mot failure, but I would look at changing them

To be honest, the bit I could get a picture of was quite a good bit! They’re mostly cracked all the way round, all three treads, both tyres. They are..... oh bum, it’ll come to me in a minute, hang on....... very common van tyre....
Might begin with E, but it might not... sorry!

I’ll get them sorted on the weekend. Hoping for a summer of camping so need to be done.

  16. Went to replace the filler hose from tank to pipe, but found the elbow was knackered too. The elbow is about 10 years old, the other filler hose original.

  18. Certainly has, only planned to replace the tank to pipe piece, but found the need to make a quick run to GSF and get the elbow too.

  19. Drove 360 miles South for Stanford Hall, met @Razzyh and is smashing wee son, off to bed, knackered. Hurrah for Propex, its Baltic.
