Straightened out the sliding door cover again after i touched the carport's post with it again.

Yes it rotates at half speed so all the angles are half what you expect .. or the slop has twice the effect on the timing..

 

Amused myself slightly reading of the Scooby with an oil leak , and then discovering there is a whole world of oil leaks for Scooby engines.

Anyway, spent 2 1/2 hours swapping the alternator for one with a working woodruff key slot.
By the time I took it out one of the bearings was shot too, it made squeaking noises and the fan slowed down quickly when I spun it.
