  1. Fitted leccy fuel pump and regulator. Wanted to stay simple but as the repro ones are crap !!!!! Much better no more oil / fuel mixture dripping, oil changed/

  2. Passed MOT with a new headlamp bulb & some water in the reservoir! That's 4 years straight!

  4. Turned the accelerator pump volume down - everywhere it says with a 009 up the volume.

In my case that made it much worse, so backed it off again and now it's great.

The new empi carb with genuine solex jets seems a good compromise.

Aren't those glass fuel filters suppose to leak and not be very good?

  10. I want those curtains!

  11. It's part of the pressure regulator. They don't leak.

  13. What are the steel wheels off?

  14. I got them new ( https://www.oponeo.co.uk/steel-wheel/alcar-kfz-9005#19639332 )
I think they are suppose to be found on mercedes C and E class from late 1990s.
They are 15'' steel wheels, 6.5'' wide, 5x112 pcd and 37mm offset with 195r70 at the front, and 195r80 at the rear.

It needed longer studs at the front but beside that they bolted straight on ad sit nicely in the arches.

Did you have to use different wheel nuts?

  16. Than
Thanks! I must admit I'm quite pleased with the look. :)

Finished off re fitting the passenger side seatbelt fixing plate. Changed the drivers side fixing plate - that has already been repaired but the plate and nut underneath looked a bit dodgy.
Sanded down some filler and painted it under the passenger seat.
Refitted the cooker as there was some paint needed there too.

    Adjusted the tappets.

Decided I will let it fail the MOT on rot in the front suspension beam then consider my options including completing tidying up welding on a possible replacement I have or paying someone to patch the beam again.. Too windy for welding outdoors..
