I nearly said a very rude word then, take no notice @art b you'll find it more interesting to visit a proper stadium with a trophy cabinet bursting with trophies
I wouldn't wander about there in daytime. Only Holland Park and St Johns Wood are safe. Ms.T just told me to add that.
Oh South London is wonderful.... It’s full of.... The southbank with borough market, the London eye, the Shard. You’ve got the Bermondsey beer mile if that’s your thing. Then further east you’ve got Greenwich, the cutty sark and the park. And if you’re after Pie and Mash, contrary to what those Essex boys say, the best pie and mash is south of the river! Agree with avoiding Lambeth though. Brixton is cool as is Clapham but might be scary for those country bumpkins. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
For fun look the locals in the eye and try to talk to them, even just a good morning really freaks them out.
Always tell taxi drivers your a geezer from this neck of the woods , that way they will bore you stuff with stories about whos been in the back of the cab ,this a distraction technique so you don't notice the meter ticking over while your taking the long route
Strange place that London, it's like its own Country. Even last week when reporting the power cuts that affected lots of the UK the BBC reported that "Power cuts have affected large parts of London, England and Wales"!
