Well, Baz if you're going for grease you could try this, LandRover changed from Oil to this type of grease in the swivel balls, it is semi-fluid but doesn't leak like oil.

 

That was my first thought, then I had an idea that maybe you could pack just a bit of grease in around where the leakage is occurring then liquid grease or oil after that, might be worth it. Midland have now got new worms too so if it all goes Pete Tong, you can get a replacement anyhow that’s been refurrrrrbed.
