Also should anyone feel like being a lazy ass and Sunday is nice i'm off work Monday so may stay over Sunday night for a chill if the weather suits.

I'm in for an extra day - I usually leave on Sunday when everyone's back together and on their way and it can get a bit late sometimes.

message to self, trailer load of wood to be sawn at work over the next week or so.

  5. Oooh if someone can help (while I pass the gin and spanners) to fit a new shifter, and take out my dash to fit these led lights that would be tremendous.

I would also like to learn how to do an oil change and some simple servicing stuff if possible

I will bring a LOT of gin ^-^

  8. Definitely in. This has been in my diary for ages.

Dunno what I'll actually be doing. Whilst bus is currently running more or less okay, and I might just want to be learning general servicey bits involving points & plugs etc, the downside of my blissful ignorance is the real risk that someone like Zed could take one look in my engine bay and say "that's wrong, that's the wrong way up, I've never seen that lashed like that before and that bit definitely shouldn't be made out of chewing-gum."

Could well be up for the extra day too - it's unlikely I'll have done anything rash like get a job before then, so there's no imperative for me to leave on time.

Rick can you amend the costings in your lead post please.

Its £7 a night and £3 for hook up which there are only 2 or 3 so if anyone has a splitter please bring.

We are in the bottom field. A marquee is possible but that's another £100 but the barn is only £30 which can take 2 maybe 3 van if the great British summer falls from the sky.

We are in for the Monday camp as well.

For all newbies and others wishing I can email a copy of Jimbo the Westieman's Basic Service Book, 2nd Edition (type 1 engine). I find this little A5 booklet very helpful I will bring a couple of copies on cd as well (if i remember). Just pm me if you want a pdf file (4 files) sending.
He has agreeed to its reprinting but I dont have the funds to so thats why I'll send digital copy.

anything else I need to add?

For you why not but as I'm a carpenter and not the author it might not make any more sense.

Opps I forgot to say what engine type its for. We amend my post in the morrow.
