I even took time to oil mine before I left and it was like new again :), still not fixed my cigarette lighter or starting issue, my temp solution has lasted a year though !! Thanks for looking after me :D

No back story that I know other than mr traveling gnome, but most people had left when he turned up in my van

  8. Sorry for taking so long to get on here and say THANK YOU! Mission accomplished. We learned loads, frenchie got a massage and a fettle and now her door slides gently to a close. The sprog was baby sat by all sorts of dogs. We need to do a bit of this and a bit of that and now we know how. Definitely want to come next year - but will come a bit more organised. @sANDYbAY thank you for the welcome ale @davidoft thank you for the magic tricks on door @MarcT512 I think we have your screwdriver! And potentially a working fridge!

  9. Ah @Angela, you beat me to it! Just had my account activated so I can post on here now and wanted to start by saying what an awesome weekend we had at techenders. It's a brilliant idea. Massive thanks to everyone who helped us out with frenchie and made us feel really welcome. We learned heaps over the weekend - hope to see you all again next April when we should be able to help other people and not just take it!

For all you Techenders, I've just had conformation from Jackie we have to have the weekend of the 17/18/19 April as the weekend after we wanted is not available, it's a week earlier than i'd have liked but we've done early April before so fingers crossed it's not too cold, i'll start a thread in the new year but keep the date free if you want to come.

i know for a couple of the regulars the weekend after was preferred (myself included) but as you all know we get the place very cheap - in effect just for the camping price, the dog agility people have booked the weekend after and they pay.... ed and jack run a business we have to fit in, the "bonus" for those like me who watch formula 1 is that ed will set it up to watch in the bar, although being china and a 6am start i doubt many seats will be taken.

  19. Depending on work & Uni Study, I might come along to this one!

  20. What a shame it clashes with Spring camp at Eskdale - perhaps I will be able to get to the autumn one.
